Play soccer year round at the Darien Park District! Learn soccer from profession trainers!
OVERVIEW
Come join the only option for a quality recreational soccer program in Darien! The Darien Park District and Chicago Empire FC have put together a tremendous, year round, recreational youth soccer program that your child will love. By signing up with us your child will receive one training session and one small sided game each week. We believe that by decreasing the numbers on the field each player’s ball control, balance, agility, and decision making skills will improve along with the quality of the experience.
All teams will require a parent volunteer coach who will need to be present at all trainings and games. Practices will be run by Chicago Empire coaches who will guide volunteer coaches towards learning the techniques needed to develop their coaching skills.

Drop-Off
Drop off completed registration forms along with payment at the Darien Sportsplex, 451 Plainfield Road anytime during normal business hours.

At the start of the session players will be placed on teams. All practices will be held on Fridays and games will be held on Sundays. Teams will be decided by the DSL staff.
2024 Session I
Evaluation Dates:
Friday, 9/6, K-6th Grade: 5:30pm-6:30pm
Sunday, 9/8, K-6th Grade: 10:30am-11:30am
- Dates: 9/13-10/20
- Training: Friday between 5:30pm-7:30pm (depending on total registration numbers)
- Games: Sunday between 10:30am-12:30pm (depending on total registration numbers)
