Splash Pad Rules

HOURS: 9:00am to 8:00pm daily
Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day

  1. Splash Pad is unsupervised, use at your own risk.
  2. Parents or guardians must supervise their children, at all times.
  3. No running, rough, or disorderly behavior.
  4. DO NOT climb, pull, jump off, hang on, or tamper with equipment.
  5. Proper swim attire, and water shoes recommended.
  6. Swim diapers required for infants and children not fully toilet trained.
  7. People with communicable or infectious diseases or illnesses are NOT allowed on water spray area.
  8. No floats, water balloons, or chairs on the splash pad area.
  9. Wheeled vehicles not allowed, except for strollers, wheelchairs, or walkers.
  10. NO food, drink, candy, gum, or glass containers permitted in the splash pad area.
  11. NO animals.
  12. NO bathing, soap, detergent, shampoo, or other allowed.
  13. NO urinating, discharging of fecal matter, or blowing the nose in the spray area.
  14. Use of the splash pad is prohibited when thunder is heard or lightning is seen, including a 30-minute period after the last thunder is detected.
  15. NO alcohol permitted in the park.
  16. Patrons refusing to follow posted rules are subject to removal from premises.
  17. All other park rules apply.

Splash pad may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance, or other operational concerns. Splash pad cannot be reserved for private parties or groups.

Community Garden Rules

The community garden is for designated gardeners only. Please respect the gardens and do not harvest produce that does not belong to you. For more information on renting a garden plot, please call 630-968-6400.

  1. Garden plots are rented for a full calendar year, January-December.
  2. Gardeners must provide their own equipment.
  3. Motorized vehicles are prohibited in the garden plot area.
  4. Gardeners are responsible for maintaining their plot for the entire year.
  5. Gardens are intended for growing produce and flowers for personal use only.
  6. Trespassing in other garden plots is prohibited.
  7. Theft will result in exclusion from garden.
  8. Pets must be on a leash, in the garden plot area, at all times.
  9. Garden waste dumpster is available for use and is located at the far end of the parking lot.
