2020 Fun-4-All Day Camp

With the recent extension of the Illinois Stay at Home Order to May 31st, the Darien Park District has made the difficult decision to cancel the following programs for this Summer: Two’s Day at Camp, Amazing Sunshine Camp, Camp Iwannahavefun, Super Stars Camp, and Fun-4-All Day Camp.

Many factors contributed to this decision – including the large number of campers in this program, as well as all of the uncertainties regarding program restrictions and re-opening dates. Our staff is incredibly disappointed that we will be unable to offer day camp.

We hope to be able to offer some of our smaller programs this summer, so please continue to watch our website for more information.

Age: 9-13 year olds (entering 4th – 8th Grade). Children may not register for this camp if they will be 14 years or older at start of camp.
Location: Darien Park District Community Center, 7301 Fairview Ave.

A camp designed exclusively for children ages 9-13! All activities, crafts, games & trips are being planned to appeal to this particular age group.

Camp is available on a day-by-day basis. Parents may register their children only for the days they need childcare. The only stipulation is that you must register a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Limited spots are available, so register early!

Extended care is only available for children enrolled in camp. Children must be pre-registered & fees must be paid in advance.

Every camper will receive a camp T-shirt. Camp T-shirts must be worn every day. Additional T-shirts are available for $7.00 each.

Fun 4 All camp will be taking 3 trips a week! All field trips will be deluxe! Trips this year include Top Golf, Medieval Times, Lemont Quarries the Forge, Ultimate Ninjas and more! In the event of inclement weather, an alternative trip will have been planned.

SEASPAR (the South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation) provides inclusion services for individuals who wish to participate in general recreation programs. An individual with a disability can have a beneficial and rewarding experience by participating with their peers without a disability. SEASPAR can provide support to an inclusive experience by adapting activities, working with behavioral modifications and providing support staff. Each individual needs to be aware of a few simple guidelines prior to an inclusive experience. When registering, make sure to indicate on the registration form that you need accommodations. Be aware of and able to follow the rules of conduct for the program, with or without accommodations. Be willing to participate in the scheduled activities. SEASPAR works cooperatively with you and the Park District to provide reasonable accommodations.

ADA Accomdation or Assistance for Summer Camp
The Darien Park District welcomes and supports the participation of individuals with special needs in our summer camp. If any person wishing to participate in our summer camp has special needs that must be accommodated to enable participation, that person’s parent/guardian must notify the Park District at the time of registration so accommodations can be made. The Darien Park District will do what is reasonably possible to satisfy those needs.
