SEASPAR (the South East Association for Special Parks and Recreation) provides inclusion services for individuals who wish to participate in general recreation programs. An individual with a disability can have a beneficial and rewarding experience by participating with their peers without a disability. SEASPAR can provide support to an inclusive experience by adapting activities, working with behavioral modifications and providing support staff. Each individual needs to be aware of a few simple guidelines prior to an inclusive experience. When registering, make sure to indicate on the registration form that you need accommodations. Be aware of and able to follow the rules of conduct for the program including COVID requirements, with or without accommodations. Be willing to participate in the scheduled activities. SEASPAR works cooperatively with you and the Park District to provide reasonable accommodations.

If your child is in need of special assistance or accommodations to participate in camp programs, please mark the box on your camp registration form.
