Darien Garden Club

The Darien Garden Club is a friendly organization filled with fun people who enjoy gardening and want to learn more about their hobby. If you are interested in gardening, you are invited to visit us as a guest at any meeting. You will be greeted warmly and made welcome. Guest may attend two meetings prior to becoming a member. Membership is $30 annually.

Scott Stewart serves as the Executive Director of Millennium Park Foundation and is deeply passionate about the value and role of public space. His goal is to create free, open, and culturally representative experiences for people in public spaces of artistic and architectural significance. Scott has published more than 40 articles and written numerous book chapters on topics ranging from native orchid seed germination, to plant propagation techniques for ecological restoration and the role of public space in ecological education. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Horticulture from the University of Florida, and a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Illinois College.
