"Floral Design Symposium"

Kathi Rose has a Degree in Horticulture from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Landscape Architect. As the owner of Kaleidoscope of Floral Design for the past 22 years, she is also gifted in floral technique and design. Being well-versed on any topic regarding landscape and floral design, Kathi has taught several subjects for GCI's Landscape Design School and has given floral presentations for many garden clubs. She loves to teach and her enthusiastic presentations are fun and educational.

Floral Design Symposium
Kathi will present various floral design styles with tips, techniques and direction. The styles presented are for use in a home, for entertaining or to enter into a flower show. While working on her design demonstrations, she welcomes all questions throughout her presentation. Upon the conclusion of her program, a couple of floral designs designed during her program will be raffled off. Join us to not only learn about using flowers from your own garden to produce beautiful arrangements, but you may also become one of the lucky winners of one of Kathi's floral creations!

SPEAKER: Joanne Laudolff

For our August speaker program, dress for some messy creativity for this hands on take home project. The cost will be $5.00 per person to be paid in cash or by check. Debbie Pasquesi and Sue Farley will be collecting the $5.00 starting at the July meeting.

Joanne Laudolff has a deep background in art and nature. Through her degrees in Photography and Art, her work experiences and further art classes, she has taken her love of nature to new creative ways.
