ACT/SAT Prep Course
Get ready for the ACT and SAT by taking this four-week course. We spend time improving our reading strategies and speed, improving our vocabulary for both the ACT and SAT and taking practice sessions. Additional practice work and tips will be given for study-at home. Though the SAT and ACT are different tests, we will learn strategies to improve overall reading, grammar and vocabulary that will apply to both tests. What we learn will also be useful in present and future English and writing classes! This class is taught by Carey Robin, a certified high school English teacher with over fifteen years’ teaching and tutoring experience.
