Pavilion Rental
The Darien Park District has four pavilions for rent for your family or company picnics.
Picnic Pavilion Permits
Picnic permits will be issued beginning Monday, April 1st for residents and Monday, April 15th for non-residents on a first-come basis beginning at 8:00am. Permits can be acquired at Darien Park District Community Center, 7301 Fairview Avenue. please call 630-968-6400 x101 or email us at pavilionrental@darienparks.com
Darien Community Park is located at Plainfield & Clarendon Hills Road. This 20 acre park features 2 pavilions.
- The north pavilion has electricity, grills, a concrete floor and will accommodate a maximum of 75 people.
- The south pavilion has electricity, grills, a concrete floor and will accommodate up to 200 people.
The parks’ amenities include 2 playgrounds, 4 tennis courts, 2 sand volleyball courts, 2 basketball courts, a softball field, a soccer field, horseshoe pits, bathroom facilities and 2 parking lots.
Smart Oaks Park is located at Bailey & North Frontage Road. This 5 acre park has a pavilion large enough to accommodate 75 people. The pavilion has electricity, grills and a concrete floor. The park’s amenities include a playground, 2 sand volleyball courts, 2 tennis courts, a soccer field, a porta-potty and a parking lot.
Meyer Woods is located on Oldfield Road, south of Lemont Road. This 10 acre park has a pavilion large enough to accommodate 75 people. The pavilion has electricity, grills and a concrete floor. The park’s amenities include a playground (currently under construction with an anticipated completion date of June 1), porta-potty and a parking lot.
